When's the best time to Visit Cuba?
What's the General Climate Like in Cuba?
The climate in Cuba is usually pretty damn gorgeous all year round! - (apart from the hurricane season- when it can be just a tad on the breezy side, and you may want to take cover!).
Cuba is close to the Tropic of Cancer, which in the summer brings a lovely cool breeze, and a welcome relief from the heat & humidity.
When's the Best Time to Go to Cuba?
The dry season runs from November to April, which is my favourite time of year to visit Cuba.
If I could go at any time, it would be the last two weeks in March and the first two weeks in April. You're pretty much guaranteed good weather, sunny skies and low rain - but it's also high-season, so you'll pay more for your flight and for your accommodation.
The rainy season is from May to October, but it's not that bad -and it doesn't stop the party! It doesn't rain all day, and you can see some really spectacular thunder storms. It does get very humid just before a storm.
The average temperature throughout the year varies between 20ºC and 35ºC, (although I have been known to freeze my socks-off in February before now!
Humidity varies between 75% and 95%.
The average sea temperature is range between 26°C and 31°C - so no excuse!

What about Hurricanes?
Not to put you off, (but just so that you are aware...) Like all Caribbean Islands, hurricanes sometimes hit Cuba!
The hurricane season in Cuba runs from June to November, although probably between August and October they are statistically more likely to occur.
Although I don't want to spoil your holiday (or put you off from going at that time of year), it's better to be aware of any risk and take suitable precautions, than to be ignorant and go unprepared.
On the good side, it's the cheapest time of year to go - so you could get some really cheap flights & hotel deals. The weather can be superb! There's a party in Cuba whatever the weather...
Keep an eye on this website if you are planning to visit Cuba between June and November.
